The confirmation voucher is only valid for the Named driver at the location of pick up as printed on this voucher and for the dates and times shown above.

All changes to reservations including cancellations MUST be made in writing, emailed to cancellations@poseidoncarrentals.com or faxed to +302310239120 (and vouchers returned) and will take effect from the date received by Poseidon Car Rentals. For cancellations made 14 or more days before start date, the deposit will be paid back and there will be no other costs, except those that might occur due to exchange rates.
For cancellations made 14 days before start date, the deposit will not be refunded.

Poseidon Car Rentals will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury or delay resulting in failure to honour any Reservation.

|
The minimum age of rental is 21 years of age.
|
|
Drivers must have held a full valid driver's license for a minimum of one year before the rental commences.
|
|
All drivers must present their original driving license at the pick-up location at the start of rental. No photocopies or fax copies will be accepted and no refund will be issued due to the failure to present a valid original driving license.
|
|
All rentals are subject to standard terms and conditions of the rental agreement as signed at the time of vehicle pick up. Once the rental agreement is signed the contract is then with the car rental supplier in the country of collection.
|
|
Only the vehicle group can be confirmed and not make or model of vehicle. Specific vehicle types cannot be confirmed and will be subject to availability at the time of pick up. When a vehicle group is not available the next group of vehicle will be provided.
|
|
Rentals are calculated on a 24-hour period from the time of pick-up. To avoid additional charges the renter must return the vehicle at the same time as the pick up time on the agreed return date stated on this voucher. Failure to return the vehicle on the agreed return date will result in additional charges. Additional charges will be charged at the local rate (normally higher) than the promotional rates and must be paid locally. Extensions to the rental period must be notified to the rental branch to ensure continuance or vehicle insurance. No refunds will be given for rentals ended early, late collections, no shows or cancellations made after the rental start date, especially for No Shows, a 20% from the total rental price will be charged on the credit card provided for the reservation.

Vehicles rented with a tank of fuel must be returned with the same fuel to avoid refuelling charges. When accepting to pre-purchase a tank of fuel renters must return the vehicle empty as no refund will be issued for pre-purchased tanks of fuel.

Most rental locations offer a selection of items to rent on arrival at the pick up location, such as child-seats, snow chains etc. These items must be requested at the time of reservation and payment made on arrival. From time to time, selected locations will offer these items free of charge, in this instance they will only be provided where possible and are not guaranteed on arrival. |

Driver's Age:
Minimum 21 years old for groups A-B and 23 years old for groups C-D. |
|
Driver's License:
International or National (within the European Union) held at least one year. |
|
Rent a car Time:
Minimum one day (24hours).Every hour in excess is calculated at 1/5 renting of the daily rate. |
|
Traffic Fines:
All traffic fines and expenses incurred during the rental period, are at the renter's responsibility. |
|
Gasoline:
Paid by the renter. Unleaded Gasoline is to be used only. |
|
Across the border car rentals:
Not permitted. |
|
Ferrying of the car:
The advanced written authorization of our offices is required by any renter wishing to ferry the car to and from an island. |
|
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW):
the renter is liable for damage costs up to €490 for economy, compact and midsize vehicle categories, and €690 for all other categories. |
|
Full Damage Waiver (FDW):
If purchased, this package will reduce the Damage Liability Waiver Excess to EUR 00.00 for most vehicle groups. |
|
Exceptions: Charges for any of the damages written below will be charged directly to the client, the most important are the following: Antenna, trays, damage to car lock, loss or damage to keys, windshield wipers, glass,mirrors, wheels, tires, interior of the car, spare key and car jack, hubcap, lights, gas cap,damage to upholstery of a car, damages to the roof, damages caused by roof rack and any luggage on it, extreme dirtiness in a car, underside damage, personal belongings in a rented car, damage due to negligence, tire punctures and burst tires, fuel errors, damage to child seats and baby seats, lack of electricity because of forgotten turned on electrical devices, loss of car documents, loss of registration plate. The car rental company, in any case, is not obligated to replace a flat tyre or damages in music devices (radio, CD/mp3 player, etc.).
Towing costs are not covered by any insurance.
Poseidon car rentals will not refund any telephone, taxi or hotel costs.
Poseidon car rentals will not be held responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, causing willful damage, off road driving, driving without care and attention or damages caused by negligence,and traffic violations.
The client will accept direct responsibility in respect of such claims.
Any unnoticed accident or damage to the vehicle may be interpreted as negligence. This may result in a charge to the client.
The CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) or the FDW (Full Damage Waiver) are not valid in case the driver of the rental car commit a trafic violation due to the Greek Trafic Code |

Personal Accident Insurance (PAI):
This insurance is optionally available at €4 per day (maximum cost €56) and covers the Driver himself. |
|
WUG (Windows-Underside-Glass) insurance is offered locally for an additional daily cost of €2, and covers damages to the above mentioned parts of the car. |
|
Ferry Insurance is offered locally for an additional daily cost €2, and covers all damages while vehicle is on ferry. |
